Heather Slepchik - Director/Producer/Editor

The Last of the Redheads is Heather's first directed documentary short. It made its World Premiere at the Montreal World Film Festival in September 2009. In February 2010 it played at Redhead Round Up in Lincoln City, Oregon where Heather held a Q&A and lectured on the power of documentary. You can catch it next at The San Luis Obispo International Film Festival on March 12 and 13th.

Heather is a natural redhead and video editor from Toronto, Canada who loves directing, story producing and editing documentaries. Her professional credits include Post Production Coordinator for the television series Rags to Red Carpet (W Network) Love Incorporated (Slice Network), Crazy For Love (Vision), as well as Assistant Editor for Mansions (Home & Garden Network) and Project Runway Canada (Slice Network).

She is a graduate from the Radio and Television Arts program at Ryerson University. In 2008 Heather was the winner of the Vision TV/Mr. Flemington Scholarship for Excellence in Television Documentary Production.
